Today is my very first “Making Sunday Simple” post. I will be posting quick and easy projects a couple of Sundays every month to inspire your creativity! I will be including simple instructions for each project in my resource library – you can get the password below! I love and cherish my Sundays. I start the day off in Church, worshiping God and spending time with fellow believers. The rest of the day is spent, if at all possible, enjoying time with family, relaxing, crafting, and I usually finish it off by completing my weekly bible study lesson. I try to keep this day simple and stress free – so to go along with that I will be posting projects that are simple and fun to create. Let’s get started!
Here is my Thanksgiving Card for this year. I am very late in getting these out – they need to be mailed tomorrow and I need 30 cards! So I thought this would be a perfect project for “Making Sunday Simple!”
I was inspired by our sermon this morning to let the people in my life know why I am grateful for them. I thought a simple Thanksgiving card with a personal message for each one would be the great way to do that. I used several different stamps from Stampin’ Up! and 2 Stampin’ Up! Ink colors. Simple white cards and envelopes made this card very quick and easy to put together. I also used the Stamparatus to cut down on the number of stamps that I needed to make. I was able to stamp only 4 times instead of 6! This made finishing all 30 cards in about 45 minutes a breeze. Be sure and get the password to my free resource library below. You will be able to find a quick tutorial for this project there!
Now all I need to do is write my message, address and send. Piece of cake – right!! I was inspired by our sermon this morning that was based on Psalms 100. There are only 5 verses in this chapter, but they are powerful! I especially love verse 5: For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. KJV.
Here is a supply list of Stampin’ Up! products used in this project. You can order any of them through the “Shop Now” button on my website here:
I just want to say that I am very thankful for all of you too. Thanks for visiting me today!!
Be Blessed, Mary Ann
